New Roots focuses on food security, food access and agriculture in the refugee community. New Roots is a national program and is located in 12 different cities. In Dallas, we have partnered with 9 different community gardens to provide growing space for our clients.

Each year, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Charlottesville resettles some 200 refugees, helping them to achieve economic self-Âsufficiency, a sense of security and social integration. Through the New Roots program, refugees are able to share their heritage and build healthy lives in Charlottesville. This short film tells the stories of a few notable growers who are doing just that.
