Meet Shakira, Julia, Nelson, Jamila, Suzan and Bijou—six entrepreneurs who are rebuilding their lives in Uganda, a country that hosts more than 1.2 million refugees.

Anu Subramaniam has been volunteering with the ̽����ѡ in Silver Spring office for a year as a youth tutor. She sees her volunteer service intimately linked to her work to "enforce access and equity in a world that does not."
