With a deep commitment to cultural humility, trauma awareness, and language access, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Boise offers mental health services that honor the lived experiences of refugees, asylees, humanitarian parolees, and other immigrant populations.

• Culturally appropriate services: we work alongside community members to ensure care is respectful of cultural beliefs, traditions, and values.
• Language access: with professional interpretation in over a dozen languages, we ensure no one is left unheard.
• Transportation: overcoming barriers by arranging for transportation to and from appointments is built into our program.
• Trauma-informed care: grounded in compassion and safety, our LCSW and LMSW trained staff have years of experience and backgrounds in trauma-informed modalities to foster resilience.
• Community centered: services are co-designed with input from the communities we serve, ensuring relevance and trust.

Treatment options

• Family and relationship sessions—responding to family reunification and mandated parenting courses, etc.
• Children's play therapy, including school-based services within the Boise Independent School District
• Stress and anxiety management sessions
• Trauma therapies—responding to addiction, violent crimes, domestic violence, sexual assault, survivors of torture, etc.
• Refugee resettlement arrival supports—social and community building sessions
• Group therapy by invitation only
