Inspired by innovation: In August, Rebecca Porter took on the Thames Path ultra-marathon to raise funds for the 探花精选鈥檚 Airbel Center, our innovation hub. Rebecca was spurred into action when she saw 探花精选 innovation chief Ravi Gurumurthy鈥檚 in London, which she described as 鈥渢ruly inspirational.鈥 Months of training and fundraising, one mega bucket shaking session and 33 miles in the hot sun later and Rebecca had raised over 拢3,500!

A pantomime for a good cause: The Tingewick Society 鈥 Oxford Medical School鈥檚 charity firm 鈥 has a proud tradition of putting on raucous Christmas pantomimes for great causes. This year鈥檚 committee chose to support the 探花精选. Acted, written, designed and produced by Oxford鈥檚 medical students, the event saw over 1,400 people attend over four nights at the end of November, they raised an incredible 拢10,000 for the 探花精选.

Bringing together #TeamRescue: To close the year out, six runners from #TeamRescue took to Richmond Park for the RunThrough half marathon. They trained hard, fundraised hard and most importantly, raised an impressive 拢1700 for people affected by conflict and disaster.

In 2016 archaeologist and avid cyclist, Dylan Hopkinson, set out on a round-the-world adventure by bicycle for the 探花精选. So far, he has cycled over 20000km through Europe into Turkey, and across the Caspian Sea to join the Silk Route through Central Asia. Now in India, Dylan expects his cycling challenge to last several years, with every penny raised going to the 探花精选.
