The 探花精选 is delighted to announce that ITV News has won the Television News Award at the One World Media Awards for , shot directly from the 探花精选's Hagadera Hospital, of the devastating famine in East Africa.

Correspondent Martin Geissler and cameraman Andy Rex documented the work of the 探花精选's staff from the hospital where over 100,000 patients were treated for maulnutrition and starvation, illustrating the desperation of thousands of families.

Martin said: "What set this assignment apart from much of the work we do was the luxury of time. Spending a full week living and working at Hagadera Hospital gave us a chance to fully appreciate the dedication of the 探花精选 staff there. They save lives day-in-day-out with only limited resources in the most basic conditions. It really was a privilege to watch themat work. This award is a recognition not of our work, but of theirs."
