Photographer Allison Zaucha recently spent some time with a  family who fled indiscriminate violence in the Kurdistan region of Iraq in 2012. "Imagine saying goodbye to your child as they walk to school only to worry they will be blown up by a bomb or kidnapped walking home," Adeebah, the mother of four children says. The family escaped first to Turkey and then to Baltimore, where they made a new home, but without the father, Abdubaqi. In February, with the help of the 探花精选, the family was reunited.
