As a part of that commitment, we provide them with necessities they will need to start rebuilding their lives here. To do this, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ relies on donated items from community partners that are passed into the hands of our beneficiaries free of charge either through our Resettlement Store or as part of an initial apartment setup.

Private donations contribute greatly to the success of the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡'s work. Although we receive state and federal funding for initial resettlement and employment services, the assistance we provide to refugee families beyond their first few months in the U.S. would not be possible without community support.

Volunteering with the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Dallas provides an enriching cross-cultural experience and allows you to learn more about the refugee experience first-hand.

The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Dallas offers a variety of unpaid internships, Masters of Social Work internships, and AmeriCorps opportunities for recent graduates and students currently enrolled in an educational institution.

The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Dallas is committed to bringing our refugee clients from harm to home. As a part of that commitment, we provide them with necessities – such as clothing and household items – they will need to start rebuilding their lives here. To do this, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ relies on donated items from community partners that are passed into the hands of our clients free of charge either through our Donation Center or other donation events.
