As part of the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡â€™s national Refugee Voices initiative, New American Voices in Salt Lake City encourages refugees and other New Americans to learn more about civic engagement, advocacy, and preparing for national events like the Census and the 2020 election.

For the second year in a row, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Wichita partnered with Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM) and Wichita State University SHIFTSPACE Gallery to host the #WelcomeHome art exhibit. The exhibit featured art created by refugees recently resettled in Wichita.

The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Arizona lead a Refugee Town Hall in honor of World Refugee Day (WRD) where community members and elected officials came together to raise concerns and share success stories from our refugee communities. Over one hundred community members, including refugee, migrant & immigrant community leaders and 20 refugee serving organizations gathered in the gym of the Valencia Newcomer School.
