Northern Central America continues to experience a protracted humanitarian crisis, and the UN reports that more than 800,000 people are in need of protection services. The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ serves individuals and families in El Salvador who survive violence and displacement, as well as people who are at high risk of displacement, returnees, migrants and refugees. ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ and our partners implement programs that provide immediate support such as information, cash transfer for food and shelter and psychological first aid. ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ El Salvador provides case management to women and child survivors of violence; operates safe spaces for women, children and the LGBTQ+ population; and works with national NGOs to implement proven community programs to reduce the risk of violence.
