Since 2020, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Silver Spring experienced a 500% increase in the number of individuals we serve. The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Silver Spring is committed to help refugees and immigrants rebuild their lives in the United States. We need you, our supporters in the community, to ensure the newest members of our communities thrive.

Moving to a new country can be an overwhelming and isolating experience for anyone. Refugees who are forced to flee their homes due to conflict, violence and/or persecution face particularly acute cultural, emotional and financial challenges during the resettlement process. ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡'s HOME Program pairs volunteer groups with refugee families to help ease their transition into life in the U.S. through mentorship and financial and material support.

GenR DC Metro is running a Back to School Backpack Drive out the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Silver Spring Office. We are doing a big push this month for backpacks and supplies for refugee and immigrant children in the DC Metro area. Our goal is to supply 50 families and we need your support!
