This summer, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Tallahassee launched a new, volunteer-led Youth program to help middle-and high-school refugee students from the Democratic Republic of Congo learn English and better adjust to their new home. The response from community members has been incredible!

By offering a laptop, reliable internet connection, and skills training, the Digital Inclusion program at the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Salt Lake City ensures families are connected to the essentials.

Recently nominated for the Washington Governor's Volunteer Service Award, Victoria shares how she got her start at the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡, the work she’s focused on in her volunteer role, and some heartfelt wishes for ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ clients in the coming year.

The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in NY's Small Business Workshop series concluded in November, following several special guest speakers.

The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ has received funding from the World Bank to Support Beirut's Immediate Social Recovery Services. The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ will implement material measures and actions so that the project is implemented in accordance with the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) and the Environmental and Social Standards (ESS).  

Meet Nancy Joseph-Gould, who has worked to solve problems for refugees since she started volunteering in 2016 at the Denver office of the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡. From creating summer camp opportunities for refugee children to helping families register their children for school and obtain the services and supports they need to succeed and so much more, she has demonstrated that one person can truly improve the lives of people in need.

"I have often heard the phrase 'children are the future,' but I never fully understood the sentiment until now." Allie shares her experience serving as an intern with the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Seattle's youth program.

The Arizona Asylum Network is a network of medical and behavioral health professionals from across the state, who volunteer to conduct evaluations for asylum-seekers.
