After a multi-year journey from his home country, with support and guidance from the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ and IOM, Adbul, his wife, and two sons have finally settled in San Diego.

In celebration of World Refugee Day on June 20th, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Silver Spring profiled four individuals who came to the U.S. as refugees and went on to make significant contributions to our society.

The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ currently hosts advocacy workshops that are free and open to the public.

From October through the end of December 2021, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in NJ has increasingly helped move in and prepare apartments for arrivals, including Afghan families.
