Students from Baylor University and Texas A&M University visit the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Dallas to learn more about how they can support resettled refugees.

In May, a group of women from the Women’s relief Society from the LDS Church in Wichita came to the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ where they met with ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ staff, toured our office and were able to learn more about the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ and the work that is done to help refugees resettling in Wichita. After their meeting they presented the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ with a stack of cheery and bright colored quilts and baby blankets for refugees resettling in Wichita.

Since August 2021, 80,000-90,000 Afghan nationals arrived in the US through Operation Allies Refuge/Welcome, with ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ providing resettlement and legal services.

Students from Wichita East High School and Manhattan Middle School in Manhattan, Kansas hosted donation drives for hygiene items to be given to refugees resettling in Wichita.
