Meet Isabella, who provides families with fresh produce during COVID-19
Families in the Dallas area, including refugees, are relying on produce ̽��ѡ New Roots coordinator Isabella Chamberlain harvests from the ̽��ѡ's New Roots gardens every week. The gardens were created as a way for newly arrived refugees to settle into their new communities, earn an income from what they grow, and enjoy more fresh produce at home. But now Isabella is working alone, for safety.

A crucial barrier to prosperity for many refugees is a lack of credit and access to financing. To meet this challenge, the ̽��ѡ launched the Center for Economic Opportunity (CEO), which offers credit building, auto, personal and business loans. As of 2023, CEO made more than 6,000 loans totaling more than $25 million to refugees across 20 states.
