What is the Rescue Collective? Rescue Collective is a community of donors and action-takers within the ̽����ѡ, who support refugees and displaced families affected by humanitarian crises to regain their safety, health, education, economic wellbeing, and power.

Join our call to make world leaders accountable for real change for refugees. One year ago, heartbreaking photographs of 3-year-old Syrian refugee Alan Kurdi stranded on a Turkish beach brought the world’s attention to the largest migration of people fleeing conflict since World War II. Alan Kurdi’s name still resonates with all of us. The sense of loss and compassion we felt at his death was real. But the politics is stuck.

̽����ѡ Voice and Deadpool star Morena Baccarin recently met resilient refugee mothers during her trip with the ̽����ѡ to Colombia, where more than one million Venezuelans have sought safety and stability. "If I pay the rent, I can't buy food," one of the women told her. As part of the ̽����ѡ(̽����ѡ)'s 2022 Global Virtual Event, world famous cellist and ̽����ѡ Luminary Yo-Yo Ma met with Zarlasht and Shir Zad Sarbaz,  Afghan refugees who moved to the United States in December of 2021.

We are honored that the MacArthur Foundation has selected this program as the winner of its 100&Change competition, a one-time $100 million grant to "make measurable progress toward solving a significant problem of our time." This award allows the ̽����ѡ and Sesame Street to create what will be the largest early childhood intervention in the history of humanitarian response.
