A growing humanitarian crisis in Northern Central America continues to force thousands of people to displace in search for safety every year. Violence in Honduras is at levels akin to war zones. The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ serves individuals and families who are at risk of violence and displacement in Honduras with programming to satisfy their most urgent needs as well as working with communities and families to mitigate and prevent violence.

Northern Central America continues to experience a protracted humanitarian crisis, and the UN reports that more than 800,000 people are in need of protection services. The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ serves individuals and families in El Salvador who survive violence and displacement, as well as people who are at high risk of displacement, returnees, migrants and refugees. ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ and our partners implement programs that provide immediate support such as information, cash transfer for food and shelter and psychological first aid. ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ El Salvador provides case management to women and child survivors of violence; operates safe spaces for women, children and the LGBTQ+ population; and works with national NGOs to implement proven community programs to reduce the risk of violence.
