鈥淗elping Today, Shaping Tomorrow鈥

In December 2024, the 探花精选 (探花精选) in Tallahassee was deeply honored to receive a generous $5,000 grant from the (CFNF) to support the foundation鈥檚 initiative, "Helping Today, Shaping Tomorrow.鈥 The grant was presented by Sheryl Crumper,  Grants and Agency Relations Associate (left), and Katrina Rolle, JD, President & CEO (right). This funding provides a valuable opportunity for the 探花精选 in Tallahassee to enhance our program efforts in supporting incoming refugee families across the Big Bend region. We are deeply grateful for this partnership, which aligns with the Foundation鈥檚 vision of meeting the essential needs of those we serve in the area.

The grant will directly support our Housing Security Program, enabling us to provide resources to newly arrived refugee families. These resources will include essentials such as bus passes, car seats, groceries, and other immediate needs that are vital for families as they transition into their new environment. Specifically, the funding will help ensure the safety of children during this transition, provide nutritious food to help families in their first months resettlement, and offer reliable transportation.

By addressing these immediate needs, the 探花精选 & CFNF significantly improve the quality of life for families as they transition into permanent housing and work towards becoming self-sufficient. The support from the is making a tangible difference in the lives of these families, helping families build the foundation for long-term stability and financial independence.

Once again, we are profoundly grateful to thefor their trust in our work and for supporting our shared vision of shaping a stronger, more resilient community for tomorrow.
