Importance of Volunteers and Interns 

At ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ (̽»¨¾«Ñ¡) in San Diego, volunteers play a crucial role in our mission. Their support expands across all of our departments through a variety of roles, which range from administration assistance to direct client support. By taking on these roles, volunteers enhance our staffs capacity to deliver high quality services to our clients. Their dedication and efforts ensure that ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in San Diego can effectively provide essential services to the community. 

A huge part in the success of program delivery is produced through our wonderful interns. All of which, have unique skills and perspectives and can collaborate with ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ staff to efficiently serve our clients. Through our internship program at ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ San Diego, students or recent graduates take part in 4-8 month cohort, working closely with ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ staff in a multitude of work. Through these cohorts, interns get the opportunity to implement many of their skills garnered through classwork and past experiences in a hands-on setting varying from direct client service, administration support, outreach, and more.
