The ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in Charlottesville and Richmond is pleased to announce the launch of an AmeriCorps project at both sites. The AmeriCorps program is supported by the U.S. federal government, foundations, corporations, and other donors to engage adults in public service work with a goal of helping others and meeting critical needs in the community. Our AmeriCorps members must commit to a full-time position in either Charlottesville or Richmond beginning September 1, 2020 through August 2021 working on focus areas that include education, healthy futures, and economic empowerment. 

Charlottesville is recruiting for one AmeriCorps member serving with , one AmeriCorps member focusing on , and two AmeriCorps members in economic empowerment with our employment team, one focusing on and the other .

Richmond will have one AmeriCorps member focusing on , one AmeriCorps member in, and one AmeriCorps member focusing on to increase our volunteer programming.

Our offices in both Charlottesville and Richmond are currently closed with staff working remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This closure, however, will not impact the onboarding or start date of our AmeriCorps positions. All positions will be able to be completed remotely if required.
